Wherever you live in Central Jersey, Biondo Contracting will do your NJ Roof Installation the right way. We start by tarping around all areas of your home, landscaping, decks, pavers ect., nothing will be left unprotected. We have a tremendous amount of “respect for landscaping”. We will then begin the removal of your old roof, which will be done in sections and we never remove more than we can complete in a single day. You will never be left with just a tarp covering your roof.
All of the old roofing materials will be placed into one of our trucks and hauled away daily, we never use “unsightly dumpsters”. After the old roof has been removed, an inspection will be done of the plywood to make sure there are no signs of rot, if there is we will replace each sheet as needed.
The next step will be the installation of Ice & Water Sheild along all eves and valleys, around skylights, chimneys and all step flashing of your roof. Then a Synthetic High Performance Underlayment will be installed over the rest of wood decking, which will help the breathability of your new roof.
Undercourse and soldiercourse will be installed around the perimeter of the roof, acting as a protective edging. Then the installation of a good quality shingle such as Owens Corning Duration Series, GAF Timberline or Certainteed Landmark to name a few, which all come in a variety of colors and all come with a limited lifetime warranty. An adequate ventilation system is required to validate your warranty and prevent for formation of ice dams in cold climates. Also, to protect the attic from damage caused by excess heat in the summer and moisture in the winter.
New chimney flashings, pipe flanges and step flashings will all be installed appropriately. Cleanup will be meticulous each day and your home will be as it was before you left for work in the morning.
